Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain requirement & procedure with regard to admission in private schools.

As per the latest instruction of Private Education Directorate, Kingdom of Bahrain, it is mandatory to get directorate’s approval before any new student is being admitted to private schools in the Kingdom.

Procedure:

After the successful completion of admission formalities (registration, admission test & interaction), school will confirm the admission eligibility of the students.

The necessary approval from the Ministry of Education, Kingdom of Bahrain need to be sought. Parents should submit the following documents (with necessary attestations) to the school to enable us to get the same:

Transfer Certificate & Final report card (if the admission is in the mid of the session, updated report card until that time).

On receiving all required documents, school will submit the application to Private Education Directorate for their approval.

After receiving the directorate’s approval, admission will be confirmed and the student will be allowed to attend classes after the payment of all applicable fees.

Note:

  • Students seeking admission for Kindergarten (KG I/ KG II) and Grade I are exempted from the ministry approval formalities.
  • NMS-DPS will confirm admission only after the Ministry of Education has approved the prospective candidate’s approval application. In the event of any delay/ rejection, the decision of the school shall be final and binding.
  • Parents have to submit an undertaking (format attached) at the time of registration assuring to comply with above regulations of Ministry and extending full co-operation to school in this regard.
